SANKOFA: Support Joseph Guzman

Joseph Guzman was shot alongside his friend Sean Bell while trying to drive home in Queens, and was later arrested while allegedly participating in a May 7 civil disobedience action called by Sharpton’s National Action Network. I can’t get info from NAN about where and when court supporters should meet, if at all. Directions to 100 Centre are at bottom in case you have already requested time off, or want to risk a trip into town. Bring his apparent docket number, 2008NY038652, a persistent attitude and low expectations.

Manhattan, county of lying murderers, says there is *a* Joseph Guzman, who was arrested on that date and given a couple of plausible-sounding violation charges. That person has trial somewhere inside 100 Centre starting tomorrow Monday July 28, which is also the day when NAN had said Guzman would have trial, at some time and place supposedly to be announced.

It’s not impossible that supporters will be found gathering outside early, and then go into court together sometime before, say, maybe 9:00 or 9:30. But I have NOT been able to find that out or learn whether that anyone was discussing that option, with now 33 hours remaining until trial.

(Volunteering with Christian bureaucracies almost makes suburbanite Anarchist bureaucracies and liberal bureaucracies seem humane by comparison. It’s sad when my best source is the notoriously unreliable and disinformation-prone death county — and them only by constitutional dictat. And another thing, my thumb still has worrisome perceptible numbing. But I guess some people have real problems, right?)
