Atto, as he is known by his friends and family, became much more than any one would ever imagine. He continued his education in music at “Universidad Interamericana de P.R and Berklee in San Juan P.R”. He later founded the Pop-rock group known as Dcapolis. The group recorded a CD and toured all over Puerto Rico, with a brief tour through the US. This experience helped him become a better guitarist and composer, but it also exposed him to the producing aspects of the music industry. He later founded Kingdom Music Productions, a state of the art recording studio in Puerto Rico, were he produced and recorded many christian artists. Since then he has evolved into a great guitar player with a mixture of rock, jazz-fusion & latin jazz, that has made his sound and style very unique and incredibly interesting. 9:00 Loud Apt. PLATINUM MUSTACHE WE KEEP IT BELOW THE NOSE AND ABOVE THE LIPS A distinctive technique for making the worlds best PLATINUM MUSTACHE was discovered. Today, over a 100 years later, PLATINUM MUSTACHE is grown in the same manner. Imagine sound crystallizing quietly on the surface of female bodies, waiting to be gathered - an age old technique that has yet to be improved upon. When all is said & done, youre left with vastly pure, unaltered, perverted soul. Its this unique structure that gives PLATINUM MUSTACHE its epic story, easy listening, like - no - other sound betwixt your left and right ear. People the world over can tell the difference. And as youll hear yourself, its a delicious one. Why do most critics swear that PLATINUM MUSTACHE is the single most important ingredient in soul music? Because PLATINUM MUSTACHE is to taste what air is to breathing. In fact, it is one of the few ingredients on earth that is actually below the nose and above the lips. In essence, great music is great flavor. And when nothing less than the ultimate in soul and sound will do. People look no further than PLATINUM MUSTACHE. 11:00 Silver Dollar (Ska / Jazz / Reggae)
Silver Dollar came together in early 2007 with the goal of keeping the roots and culture of Ska both alive and firmly planted in the tri-state scene. At a time when quality is often sacrificed for quantity, they work to perfect the sounds of 60’s Jamaica while also perfecting and pushing their individual abilities. Bringing Ska, Jazz and Soul together with R&B, Gospel and their many individual influences, the end result has been described as a “Monster” sound that comes out swinging and doesn’t let up. Silver Dollar features members and ex-members of Inspecter 7, The Hub City Stompers, The Brimstones, The Creatures of the Golden Dawn, Pan Opticon, Taste of Coffee, Power of Soul and more. Its members are also active DJs, Record Collectors, Activists, Scooterists, long time supporters of the local music scene and active in the community with Bassist Larry Wiggins playing weekly at the Sharon Baptist Church in New Brunswick, NJ. Whether at the local Scooter Rally, sweaty Punk Club or in the Jazz setting Silver Dollar push themselves to deliver a sound that moves both the soul and body and continue to remind everyone exactly where the music came from.
