Cincinnati's "Buzz" is Back on WDBZ (1230)

Radio One gospel WDBZ (1230) Cincinnati, has flipped back to black talk as “The Buzz,” under new OM Steve Harris. As of today, syndicated personalities such as Tom Joyner, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Warren Ballentine and Bev Smith return to the line-up. Interestingly, the syndicated Tom Joyner morning show will simulcast with co-owned Urban AC WMOJ (100.3). WBDZ was originally black talk under previous owners Blue Chip Broadcasting, led by the late Ross Love. It went Gospel two years ago. Longtime midday talk personality Lincoln Ware has stayed with the station throughout the years, and remains the anchor of the new “Buzz.” Gospel music will also remain part of the station in overnights.
